Celebration of Club Charter Night in our RWM

We felicitated our 5 chartered members PP Rtn Sarbojit Basu, PP Rtn Abhijit Chatterjee, PP Rtn Bikash Banerjee, PP Rtn Dr. D K Das Biswas, PP Rtn J P Agarwal with flower bouquet and Uttario. Though Dr. D K Das Biswas and J P Agarwal left Rotary, we invited them in our club meeting. J Agarwal could not attend the program due to his health problem. Our members went to his residence to felicitate him. In the meeting, Chattered Members shared their experience. The program was followed by Rotary’s Family Dinner. It was a very good program.

Rotary Family Dinner &Bengali New year Celebration

We celebrated Bengali New Year in a unique way .A cultural program was organised. Our members & Annes participated in different programs like Recitation, Singing, Dancing etc. The cultural program was followed by evening snacks and Family Dinner. The dinner was sponsored by Rtn Samir Choudhary and Rtn Jayanti Choudhary on the occasion of their 45th Marriage Anniversary. It was an excellent program. Everybody enjoyed a lot.

Organised Rotarys Family Dinner after DG Visit

District Governor’s Official Visit to our club held on 8th Feb 26 at Asansol Club Ltd. In the morning, DG visited our Adult Literacy Centre at FEED Campus and inaugurated a Smart Class at Jamuria Namopara F P School donated by our club. In the evening, after meeting with President, Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect, DG’s official Meeting started at 8.00pm. In the RWM, DG handed over Vocational Service Awards to 2 dedicated persons in their vocations and also handing over a cheque of 9000/- (2nd Qtr.) to Sri Chandra Sekhar Mukherjee for the expense of Adult Literacy Centre. After AG’s and DG’s speech, President presented mementos to AG & DG. President adjourned the meeting after vote of thanks. Rotarys Family Lunch on 28th December

This month, our Club President Rtn Sachindra Nath Roy arranged Rotarys Family Lunch at Asansol North Point School on 28th December 2025. Our club members, Anns, Rotarylets and members from R C Ranigang, R C Ukhra, R C Burdwan also joined in our Family Lunch. Rotaract and Interact members also joined in the Lunch Party. We were lucky that our DGE Dr. Asim Kanti Adhikary also joined with us in our lunch party. It was just like a Family Picnic. Everybody enjoyed a lot.

Attended Installation Ceremony of Asl Green City

8 members of R C Asansol Greater Attended Installation Ceremony of R C Asansol Green City held on 22nd August 2025 at Ananda Resort, Bolpur Santiniketan. PDG Ashok Agarwal was the Chief Guest and Guest of honour was AG Zone-I, our home club member Rtn Chandan Mukherjee. AG Zone-II and members from neighbouring clubs attended the Installation ceremony. The program was organised very beautifully. The program was followed by fellowship and dinner.

Our club inducted 8 new members including 4 Lady members on the day of Installation meeting. Growth of any Organisation is measured in terms of their growth in manpower and financial gain. Rotary is no exception. More no of clubs or increased in manpower is one of the platforms of Rotarys growth. That is what we did in our Installation Ceremony. 8 new members in one go is something to be an achievement in itself. And that is what we did.

36th Installation Ceremony of R C Asansol Greater

Installation Ceremony of any Rotary Club is like a festival in Rotary where we meet and greet fellow Rotarians from near and far away places. This the occasion when we exchange our thoughts, our ideas and we can plan something for the future. This the occasion when we have the knowledge of other Rotary Clubs future plans and programs. We exchange our thoughts, our plans and our future plans. More than 150 Rotarians and Annes from our club and from neighbouring clubs attended the program. The program was followed by Fellowship, Musical program and Dinner. The program was well covered by Press and Media. A special Installation Bulletin HARK was published and released by Chief Guest, our own DG Dr. Kameswar Singh Elangbam on the day of Installation.

President Rtn Sachindra Nath Roy welcomed all Members followed by Reading of Object of Rotary, 4 Way Test of Rotary and then National Anthem by all. All members assured President of their all-out support, help and guidance to him and the club. Date of Installation was announced by President officially and the respective responsibilities were given to all. President then Felicitated 3 renowned Doctors of the Area which in turn was covered by Media for Rotarys Public Image. The Meeting was followed by Fellowship.
